I received the Brown Boost pedal, wow what a boost. I have owened a bunch of boost but this boost adds something that is right. Thanks to Dave he supported me with this boost which will be out on tour with me and never turned off. I tour and have worked with alot of National acts and can tell you this is a amps must. My problem is I'm gonna hit Dave for the white boost to go on my board as well I cant be without hearing the other and having it as well. Im out on the road for a few weeks but check out the demo I will be making on this Brown Boost pedal... Thanks Shawn Roberts

Hi Dave, I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying this pedal.
To give a quick background, I set out to build one of these myself and unfortunately it didn't go so well, As I searched for fuzz pedals (an awful lot of them out there) I came across yours, Not only does it sound well, I can tell you that I liked it better than the Hartman silicon fuzz (which I tried in my home!!) Great product at a reasonable price and the smaller pedal size is an advantage as well. Good luck with future endeavors, as it seems you take pride and time with your work which can be rare these days. Dane Carlson

I play guitar in a band called The Running Back from Nashville TN.
I started using Trachouse Custom Pedals recently and was absolutely blown away.
Not only was I super impressed by the sound and quality of the pedals. But it was nice to know that the first thought on Dave from Trachouse is customer satisfaction. Dave was readily in contact and always quick to respond to emails. I'm looking super forward to doing work with Trachouse in the future, and I know that each pedal he releases is going to be one of the best out there!

I purchased the 70s fuzz - this is one of the few pedals that lives up to the hype. As stated, it is extremely responsive to the guitar's volume adjustment and is capable of a VERY fuzzy texture that some fuzz pedals just do not achieve.
I am playing a Fender Prodigy Strat (HSS, GFS pickups) and a '73 SG through a Deluxe Reverb II and a '73 Kustom K150 - both guitars and amps sound amazing in different ways. I have several fuzzes in the collection (Foxx Tone Machine Reissue and Swollen Pickle Reissue to name a few) and Dave's is more of a straight up fuzz when maxed out. Dave's pedal kicked my Swollen Pickle off the pedal board. It also sounds great run into, and after, my early 90s LM308 Rat 2. I can't believe how reasonable the price is and still can't believe how fast it appeared on my front porch after ordering. Do yourself a favor, try this pedal - the price is so reasonable, you won't go wrong. These things will be highly sought after when the word gets out. I plan on buying the clean boost next. Thank you Dave! God Bless!

Dave, I've never been a fuzz guy (or even into pedals much) but am so glad I tried this one! I have thrown a lot of money at experimentation and am surprised to find the zing I've been looking for in a $60 fuzz. Crazy. The response to the guitar's volume control and the tones are amazing. This pedal put a big smile on my face. Great job!

I purchased both the 2n5088 Boost and Fuzz. Both great pedals for the $$$.
The Boost does exactly what it's supposed to do - a nice clean boost that richens-up the tone by driving the amp a bit more.
The Fuzz took a a little playing to get dialed-in, but again, exactly what's it's advertised as, a 70's Fuzz for a fraction of the price of the boutique pedals. I did tweak the internal trim pot (I turned it down a fraction - counter clockwise) after receiving it and now it's perfect. Great fuzz for both a Strat Plus and PRS w/ HB's.
Dave, thanks for the great sounding, AFFORDABLE pedals.

I seldom ever leave comments on products I buy but this boost pedal that I ordered has taken my sound and playing to another level. So since I was so blown away about this pedal I just had to write my thoughts. I am playing a deluxe strat through an egater head with 2 12's The boost pedal is not creating any distortion it just gives your notes more life. Thanks for making such a great product.

I purchased the 2n5088 boost and the 70's Fuzz. These are both great pedals.
Let's discuss the 2n5088 Boost first. This pedal is at the end of my effects chain. If your looking for a pure boost with no coloration to your tone, this is the one for you (I have had several other supposable clean pure boosts with "NO LUCK" as far as coloration). This thing has loads and load of clean boost on hand, very easy to push a tube amp just over the edge to that nice sweet break-up that most people look for in a pure clean boost.
Now for the 70's FUZZ. This pedal is very very very volume senitive. Your guitar volume and tone knobs have drastic effect on the tone of this pedal. I find that with humbuckers, volume on 6-7 and tone knobs on 8 work best. For single coils, volume on 7-8 and tone knobs on 7 works for me. This thing depending on the volume/tone knobs of guitar can go from a sweet low break-up to full on FUZZ that would make any PUNK band proud. I keep the Fuzz knob all the way up and the volume knob on the pedal to match my amplifier, then control the amount of Fuzz by using my volume knob on the guitar........I really like this 70's Fuzz, I never had a Fuzz on my effects board until I played this one (Played a lot of them at music shops and other peoples effects boards but never really cared for them until now).
Let's talk about service, this guy built and delivered them to me within 2 day's and even offered my money back within 2 weeks if I didn't like them. Will I be collecting my money back.......I don't think so!!!!
Would I buy them again..........Dam right I would! Try them out if your looking for a supper clean boost and the 70's fuzz sound, you'll love them. Hell, I'm saving up for the 2n5089 Boost next month.

Hi Dave I was so impressed with your boost pedal I couldn't resist grabbing your fuzz pedal and I am happy I did. I play mostly humbucker equipped guitars and your fuzz pedal does the trick nicely with my Les Pauls (volume around 6 and tone rolled back to 7). As others have already stated your fuzz pedal is very sensitive to volume which opens up a lot of options when gigging. You can go from a low growl distortion to over the top full on Hendrix fuzz by just turning up your guitars volume. How cool is that!
Thanks for offering great pedals at great pricing. I couldn't be happier with my two trachouse pedals. Let me know what else you got cooking.

Dave,
I wanted to report back to you....the pedal came fast, but I was gone for the weekend. I gave it a go today and I am liking it a lot! It does sound good in front of the tube screamer(or behind it)...I don't use much gain on the tube screamer...maybe thats why I can get away with running it that way.In the past I used the ts 9 to shape a tighter low end on fuzz pedals....I find that your pedal has a more focussed low end and I will be able to use the fuzz without help from the ts 9!!!
Three fuzz pedals that I have liked best in the past are...Anaologman Sunface, Fuzzfoot(foxrox) and the Diaz Texas square face....your fuzz pedal is on par with any of those pricey offerings....Thanks for offering a great sounding pedal priced in a working Musicians budget!!!

Just got the fuzz pedal, it's awesome. I've been searching for my first fuzz for months, and had become resigned to the fact that I was going to have to pay well over a hundred dollars for a good fuzz face. Then I found this pedal and jumped on it. Exactly like Dave advertises and others have already said, it's extremely responsive to the volume know, and has me fiddling with my volume control more than ever. Great pedal, even better value.

I own a 2n5088 and a 2n5089 Boost and they are both very good effects. The 2n5088 takes your tone and gives you a nice clean boost that fattens up your sound a bit but does not mess with your EQ. The 2n5089 does the same but adds a touch of treble and gain to your sound. I also had Dave to build me a custom A/B Switch on which he did a superb job. I highly recommend Dave and his effects!

Just got your fuzz pedal a few days ago(very fast shipping!). It works very well and just like advertised and as others have said, very sensitive to the volume control on the guitar... just crank the volume and fuzz and role back the guitar's volume for taste. This might sound funny, but fuzz is not really my thing. I have been very disappointed in most distortion pedals and I wanted something more interesting so I went for this fuzz pedal. What I really enjoy about this fuzz pedal is how well it plays off of my overdrive pedal. Since I favor overdrive, I play that until I need that thicker/meater sound the overdrive can't deliver... then I click on the fuzz and the combination is quite good and surprisingly quiet as far as hum. The overdrive and fuzz together create the thick driving sound with note definition I was wanting. The inside of the pedal is clean and neat. The price vs. quality is unreal. Thank you for making such a quality product and such a great price.

Hi Dave,
Just wanted to let you know I loved your fuzz pedal, it's very sensitive to the volume knob on the guitar and that's exactly what I was looking for! I love it some much it kicked my other distortion pedals off the pedal board and now is my go to pedal! I like that fact that it's fuzzy but not over the top out of control fuzz! Excellent pedal Thank you very much!!

Got the 2n5088 boost pedal. Exactly what I was looking for. Great pedal for a great price. Boosts the volume without much coloration of the tone from the amp. Excellent.

I bought a booster from trachouse pedals and absolutely love it! I think it drives my blues junior perfectly, very warm and harmonic, and super responsive. It replaced my EH LBP-1 booster which is more shrill and breathy. Great Booster!! Great Price!!
